The Vision for a Central Future
Catholic Central Schools have experienced a rejuvenation of spiritual commitment by families within our parishes, and a new interest from Christian families across the region who are seeking out the educational alternatives available to them. At a time when so many school districts are facing major obstacles, Catholic Central has stood the test of time and will soon mark 80 years of providing a faith-based, academically superior education.
This rejuvenation has provided us the opportunity to create unity among our campuses, students, faculty and staff.
Our goal is to explore the unification of our elementary into one new facility at the Lagonda campus, and to improve our current Junior/Senior High School. Bringing the elementary students together will enrich their academic, faith-based environment. Improving our current Junior/Senior High School will allow us to maintain our tradition and heritage, and improve the academic, faith-based experience for our older students.
As we look to the future, we fully realize that change is a natural part of life. Adaptation is necessary not to just survive, but to thrive. Though rooted in the foundation of the Catholic faith, Catholic Central is open to and respects students of all faiths and ethnic backgrounds.
We are firmly committed to academic excellence and believe in building lifelong community. And though there may be many changes for the positive growth of Catholic Central, there are some things that will never change. That is the "Central" difference.
