The Catholic Central Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (CCE PTO) welcomes all parents/guardians, staff, teachers, and students. CCE PTO focuses on activities and projects which fulfill our purpose ... "to assist in the Catholic education of the children of the school through promotion of positive relationship and communication among parents, students, faculty, and school administration".
During our third year at Catholic Central Elementary, fundraising remains to be our biggest challenge. Our annual wreath sale is our largest fundraiser which raises money to help support CCE's general operating budget. We also support several other fundraisers such as the Box Top Drive, Market Day, Entertainment Books, SCRIP Program, and Kroger Cards. Monies raised from these fundraisers allow PTO to sponsor events during Catholic Schools Week and Cookies, Crafts, and Carols. Throughout the school year, PTO will purchase items for our teachers from their wish lists. We are currently looking for new ideas for a spring fundraiser.
While our PTO is doing a phenomenal job with volunteering efforts, our parents make up an integral part of PTO. Together we can make our school community stronger from what we bring collectively and individually. We encourage you to get involved in any capacity you can!
The structure of PTO has changed for the 2007-2008 school year. We have four Officer Positions along with three Teacher Representatives. We are no longer assigning committee chairs. As a result, we will be sending out volunteer sign up sheets prior to each event.
